Pouya Afshar MD, MBA

Chief Medical Officer
Integrated Healthcare Alliance

Dr. Afshar is board certified in internal medicine, hospice and palliative medicine, and venous and lymphatic medicine. Since 2010 he has served as an assistant clinical professor of medicine at the University of California, San Diego. He works in different levels of healthcare in an effort to provide continuity of care for all his patients. As an acute care physician, he is a hospitalist at UCSD Thornton, UCSD Hillcrest, Scripps Mercy Hospital, and the VA San Diego Hospital. A pioneer in transitional care medicine, Dr. Afshar is a medical director for several skilled nursing facilities, where he manages patients post hospitalization during their short term rehabilitation. As the final piece to the continuum of care, Dr. Afshar founded Integrated Healthcare Alliance (IHA) in 2015, where his primary care physicians lead a multidisciplinary team that delivers in home medical care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Afshar is an avid soccer player, former personal trainer, and completed 14 marathons, including two trips as a qualifying runner for the Boston Marathon.

Joe Cutrell

Director, Strategy & Innovation

Joe Cutrell is a Director of Strategy & Innovation in the Global Business division, with a focus on Healthcare Industry Solutions. As a strategy resource for some of AT&T’s largest customers, he provides technical direction to help them address their unique business challenges, and acts as a strategic partner to develop innovative approaches. Joe assists with infrastructure architecture while working with enterprise executives to align technology with their business priorities.

Joe brings over 25 years of experience in project engineering, system integration and business forecasting to AT&T Global Business. Prior to joining AT&T, he led the Enterprise Network Engineering team at FedEx, responsible for network architecture and design.

In 2012, Joe moved to AT&T, joining a newly created team dedicated to innovation, technical vision, and strategy. As a Director of Strategy & Innovation, he has worked with multiple Fortune-500 companies in diverse industry verticals. Now, with a focus on the healthcare industry, Joe’s experience in platform scalability, flexibility, and interoperability help large organizations satisfy their unique business requirements.

As a customer driven resource, Joe leads innovation partnership programs and assists with engineering best practices, industry trends, and business solutions. He also provides business and technical updates on AT&T’s strategic network services for customer briefings and industry groups. Further areas of focus include internet services, collaboration strategy, mobile sensor IoT platforms, and dynamically controlled network infrastructure.

Fred Holston

Frederick Holston’s history in technology started in the mid ’80s with early mainframe and PC technologies. His background includes work in the financial, federal government, military and manufacturing sectors.

Most recently, Mr. Holston spent 19 years with Intermountain Healthcare, a globally respected leader in high-quality and low-cost healthcare based in Salt Lake City. At Intermountain, Mr. Holston was chief technology officer and executive director of their Healthcare Transformation Lab. He has experience delivering healthcare-related technologies ranging from data center technologies and EMRs to medical device integration.

Prior to Intermountain, Mr. Holston worked for Oracle, where he was a principle consultant primarily for the military and a federal agency. He has been quoted in a number of healthcare and healthcare-technology articles, and was featured in the February 2013 issue of Health Leaders.

Mr. Holston holds a degree in electronics engineering technology. He is a member of the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE). He is a corporate member of CHIME and a voting member of the IEEE Standards Association.

Monica Olaff

Monica has demonstrated success in the health care industry for over 15 years across two major New Jersey health systems. With a background in communications, human resources and patient relations, Monica discovered a passion for healthcare and the patient experience. Most recently, she transitioned into the healthcare IT sector with TVR Communications, where she has the privilege of helping shape technologies that help organizations improve the patient experience.  She has lead teams through the rollercoaster of tough-to-move scores and helped champion many initiatives to operationalize patient-centered care.  Her hands-on approach has proven to be effective both on paper and at the bedside with patients and their families.

John A. Reeves, MS, CPHIMS, CISSP

John Reeves is the Dell Boomi Healthcare Solutions Evangelist.  He has held positons in Healthcare Product Manager focusing on standards and interoperability. He has a focus on clinical information sharing and integration. John has over 25 years experience in IT infrastructure and organizational management in the enterprise. John has industry experience across multiple verticals through work with various state and federal agencies. John has also worked on Solutions Development for Latin America, Europe and S.E. Asia; and has worked in Healthcare for payers and providers. He has held positions as Chief Technology Officer and Director positions for healthcare delivery organizations focusing on technical transformation initiatives to support system wide clinical initiatives. John has also focused in the data center infrastructure for cloud, AI and ML initiatives. He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). John holds a Master of Science in Health Informatics from Northeastern University.

Kevin Stuck

Kevin Stuck is a Senior Director in Salesforce's Healthcare and Life Sciences industry team where he leads consulting partner in development of solutions for providers, health plans, pharmaceutical and medical devices organizations.

Kevin brings experience in healthcare operations and leading enterprise software strategies and projects as a leader with regional consulting firms and as a Managing Director for advisory services at KPMG prior to joining Salesforce.
