This session will discuss Kootenai Health’s concerted approach to completely reshape how clinicians engage with patients through multiple initiatives that put patients first. The discussion will revolve around the hospital’s recent interactive patient care (IPC) implementation, with a focus on key topics, such as: patient education, nurse workflows, patient/nurse communications, customized patient room service, and EMR integration.
