Andrew H. Do, MPH, Assistant Department Administrator at Kaiser Permanente & Professor at UCLA

Andrew has been with Kaiser Permanente since 2015, supporting senior executive leaders in developing innovative approaches to care delivery by leveraging data analysis, project management, and resource planning to assess the needs of patients relative to industry pressures and trends. Andrew is currently the Assistant Department Administrator for Kaiser Permanente's regional cardiac surgery program, managing day to day operations in Los Angeles and overseeing the strategic expansion of the program across Southern California. While not in a direct IT role, Andrew's strategic position allows him to incorporate technology into daily staff workflows, such as implementing post-operative video visits between patients and providers and streamlining data abstraction and reporting processes through Advanced Analytics. Andrew graduated from the MPH program at UCLA in 2016 and currently holds an adjunct appointment as a professor in the UCLA Division of Social Sciences. He is also the faculty advisor for The Liver Project, a UCLA student initiative to fight liver disease by collaborating with nonprofits, schools, and other community organizations to provide health education and advocacy for patients.
